Tarot Energy: 12.5.21

From The Lord of the Rings Tarot Deck by Terry Donaldson and Peter Pracownik
We've seen the 6 of Coins (Pentacles) fairly recently in our weekly card pulls, and it comes to visit us again for this coming week. As depicted here, we find a character from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, surrounded by the treasure he finds in the dragon Smaug's cave. Having just celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday in America, the Tarot asks us, once more, to consider the wealth of resources we have around us in deliberation of what we may be able to share with others. Spring cleaning is a typical activity for many people, but this may also be a good time to cull our belongings and give to charity anything we no longer use or need. Similarly, this card calls us to contemplate the other resources we have in our lives: our physical bodies, our circle of family and friends, our material possessions and financial status, as well as urging us to really understand what makes us, personally, feel secure. In meditating on our emotions and our reality connected to our sense of personal wealth, we pull into the light insecurities or shortcomings that hinder us from settling into a more acceptable and peaceful state. Clearly, we need the energy of this card to speak to us on a deeper level, or it wouldn't visit again quite so soon.
May we all find the security and the peace that we need to truly enjoy what we have in this world.
